The beautiful purple gold colored ametrine beads first came into existence in the seventeenth century when Spanish conquistador received some mines in the form of dowry after marrying Anahi a princess who belonged to the Ayoreos tribe in Bolivia. Those mines produced stunning and bright doubke colored gemstones. With the view of winning some additional favor, the conquistador presented the gemstone to the queen.
The amertine beads are considered to bring good luck, and act as talisman for balancing opposing natural forces and connects the material world to the spiritual reality.
